Wenger signs two-year contract

Arsenal’s coach, Arsene Wenger, on Wednesday extended his deal at the club by two years, after reports emerge that the French could leave due to his side’s poor performance last season.

Recall that the sixty seven year old manager, after winning the FA Cup for the seventh time last Saturday, said he would want to stay at the club

“I love this club and I am looking forward to the future with optimism and excitement. We are looking at what we do well and how we can be stronger everywhere,” Wenger told Arsenal’s website.
