Osun doctors protest half salary payment, tax regime

Doctors working with the Osun state government on Thursday, protested over half payment of salaries and harsh tax system by the state government.

The doctors complained about the half payment of salaries in the last 24 months, during the peaceful protest in Oshogbo, the state capital.

Dr. Jumoke Olatokunbo, chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in the state, told journalists that the association was worried over the irregularities from the government.
