Obafemi Martins scores third goal in Chinese League

Nigerian striker, Obafemi Martins, on Saturday, scored for his club, Shanghai Shenhua in the 42nd minute, following a 3-1 home loss to city rivals, Shanghai SIPG in a home game.

Shanghai SIPG’s Lei Wu player opened the scoring in the 35th, Martins’ goal equaled it, visitors’ Brazilian striker was on target in the 89th minute.
Shanghai SIPG finally got their comprehensive victory in 91st minutes after an own goal from rival’s Yunqiu Li.

This is Martins’ third goal in five CSL matches this season while Shanghai Shenhua is eight on the table with just 11 points from nine games.

Shanghai SIPG are second with 23 points from 10 matches.
