May and Baker Nigeria targets 75% pharma growth in 2017

May & Baker Nigeria Plc. plans to expand its drug manufacturing and distribution business by 75 per cent in 2017, from a turnover of N6 billion in 2016.

The Executive Director of Pharma Sales and Marketing Mr. Chukuka Chukutem announced this at a forum with distributors of the company. He also said, the company will accomplish this goal via regular product availability, the introduction of new products, increased brand support and promotion as well as a mapped out distributor support and incentive system which would expand the company’s businesses. A new product t was unveiled at the forum, it is a flavored relief known as Easadol Suspension for children.

The managing director of May & Baker, Mr. Nnamdi Okafor said irrespective of the economic challenges in Nigeria, the company still had over 18 per cent turn growth in 2016, averaging 11 per cent in 2015.
