FG to prosecute N-Power deserters

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation (N-Power Scheme) Afolabi Imoukhuede, on Wednesday announced that the federal government will prosecute N-Power volunteers who collect salaries yet refuse to work.

Imoukhuede at a forum in Abuja revealed that 17 N-Power volunteers who have been receiving salaries since December have not resumed work at their primary places of assignment.

“Because in the school where I identified them, their dutiful colleagues, the volunteers who are the true Ambassadors of N-power, are there and they know these people.

“So now if we don’t investigate and prosecute them they now get de-motivated,’’ Imoukhuede said.
